Council of Neighbourhoods decides for a regular Corso Zundert 2021

On May 31 the Zundert neighbourhoods (united in the Council of Neighbourhoods) decided – together with the Foundation Corso Zundert – they will go to great lengths to make a ‘regular’ Corso possible. This means – in consulting the local council – they arrived at appropriate rules and (precautionary) measures to make preparations for a riding float in September. Should this not be completely possible due to covid-measures or permit demands, the plan is flexible so matters can be scaled down.

The decision was taken with all parties concerned after an intensive period of discussing the impact of Corona and the 1,5 meter society on Corso. After all,  the Corona measures influence all stages in the building process of a Corso float. And of course all this must be achieved in a manner that is safe and responsible and in accordance with government guidelines. In this, cooperation with the local council is crucial. By keeping one another well informed about the present situation, this offers the opportunity to reach a nice and responsible final result. For ‘we are done with Corona but Corona is not done with us yet.’

Ticket sale and information about the event can be found on the social channels of Corso Zundert and on www.corsozundert.nl . So keep an eye on this for the most up-to-date information. Foundation Corso Zundert chairman Jos Jochems: “I am delighted we can start building a real Corso Zundert. We expect a beautiful Corso summer for the building teams with a terrific result for all corso lovers. Anyway, it gives lots of positive energy!”
