The Corso Tour was invented after many requests of visitors. You, as a Corso lover, have the opportunity to experience the actual creation of the floats! Thursday the 29th of August, Friday the 30th of August and Saturday the 31st of August are the days leading up to the parade on Corso Sunday. All hamlets are fully focussed on covering their floats with dahlias: the so-called ‘tikken’ (pinning). And you can become part of this frenzy by taking a look behind the scenes.
The Corso Tour is also very interesting for children, as the younger inhabitants of Zundert are taken to the construction sites to help build the floats from an early age.
The Corso Tour package includes:
The duration of the entire programme is approximately 3 hours. The Corso Tour starts and ends at Café-Zaal Het Wapen van Zundert (address: Katerstraat 12, Zundert).
The Corso Tour is done on foot or by bike (bring your own bike), in groups of 15 people maximum. Take note: since you’ll be visiting actual construction sites, it’s important to wear sensible and closed-toe shoes.
The Corso Tour is available on the following dates and timeslots:
The 14.00h tours will be by bike. We highly recommend this tour because it will allow you to also take in the beautiful surroundings of Zundert. The 19.00h tours will be on foot.
There’s also a Corso Tour adapted to persons with disabilities on Thursday the 29th of August at 19.00h. Tickets for this tour are limited, so don’t hesitate to make your reservation.
On Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31th of August, there’s also a Corso Tour with an English speaking guide.
